Quick summary

  • The booking end is fixed even when the tennis score is not.
  • Agree a suitable social format before the first point.
  • Leave collection time and an honest unfinished-result rule.

A full match may outlast the court you booked

A tennis booking gives you a period of court access, not a guarantee that a chosen match format will finish inside it. Long games, close sets and ball collection can use the available time quickly. If the pair waits until the final minutes to discuss what happens next, the score and the next booking's arrival can turn a friendly session into a dispute.

Agree the format before play. For a social hit, you can choose a shorter scoring arrangement, a tie-break practice or a timed block of games, provided both players understand the purpose. In an organized competition, follow the event's format and rules rather than inventing changes because your booking is running short.

Reserve the finish before deciding the start

Separate court-access time from match time. Allow for entering, preparing, any agreed warm-up and the final collection and departure. The ITF Rules of Tennis describe standard and alternative scoring methods; use the current rules if choosing a recognized format, and make any informal practice variation explicit. Do not present a custom timed game as an official match result.

Agree what happens at the playing cutoff. You might stop after the current point and record the score as unfinished, or use another mutually understood practice rule. Avoid beginning a fresh long set when only a small part of the booking remains. If a competition requires a completed result, arrange enough court time or ask the organizer for the proper procedure before starting.

Keep the clock visible without making every point rushed. Announce the remaining time at a natural pause and apply the agreement equally regardless of who is ahead. Do not continue into another booking without the facility's permission. Collect balls, remove personal equipment and leave the court in the required condition. The goal is a satisfying period of tennis with a clear ending, not a result obtained by making the next players wait.

Example: an hour reserved with a clear playing cutoff

Imagine a social booking from 18:00 to 19:00. The pair allocates the opening portion to entering and preparing, then chooses a short format they both know. They agree to stop playing at 18:55 so balls and equipment can be cleared by the booking end. The numbers illustrate scheduling, not an official tennis rule.

If the score is unfinished at that point, they record it honestly rather than deciding that the leader automatically won a completed match. On the next visit, they can continue by agreement or begin anew. Because the endpoint was chosen before the first serve, neither player can change it opportunistically when the score becomes close. The facility receives the court back on time.

Carry the clear finish into your home routine

Once the final rally and court cleanup are complete, KIOKOP PRO can provide optional full-leg air compression during a seated period at home. Its controller-operated care fits the natural transition after repeated starts, stops and rallies, without another active sequence of manual tool work.

Use the current product instructions to set up and begin the selected operation. The unfinished score can wait for the next agreed session. A defined court endpoint leaves room for a simple personal-care routine afterward instead of letting the match consume the rest of the evening.

Frequently asked questions

Can we shorten an official match because the booking ends?

Follow the competition’s rules and organizer instructions. Arrange the court requirement in advance rather than assuming players can independently change the official format mid-match.

What if we are tied when our social playing time ends?

Use the agreement made before play. Recording an unfinished or tied practice score is reasonable; continuing into someone else’s booking is not automatically permitted.
